Our previous boxes took up a lot of space and we felt their sound wasn’t suitable for the music played at the club. After testing various speakers, we decided to install a system centered on the XY-152 and XY-218S from Pioneer Professional Audio. The key factor in our choice was that we wanted a setup to make the sound from the monitors as close as possible to the sound on the dancefloor so that DJs – especially those who play long sets – could control the floor effectively. Also, because we host a wide variety of events, we wanted a setup that would perform well for any genre of music. We tested several speakers on the floor and because of their natural sound, we decided to install the 15-inch full range speaker and 18-inch subwoofer with the optional gold grilles. Since then, we’ve received positive comments from many Japanese and international artists. And because the Pioneer Pro Audio speaker lineup is high-quality and provides natural sound, we rate it as a benchmark for audio in clubs and other music venues.
