When we renovated our 1st floor, we installed a combination of XY-3B and XY-218HS from the Pioneer Professional Audio XY Series. We’d been using a sound system centered on the XY-152 and XY-218HS on another floor in the club since early 2017, so we knew all about the reliability and high performance of the speakers. This made it easy to choose the XY-218HS – which is powerful, punchy, and responsive, regardless of the musical genre – for the subwoofers in the new system. And after testing the XY-3B (which we’d been curious about since its launch) in conjunction with the sub, we decided to install it straight away. I’m extremely happy with the audio from the XY-3B – I’ve never heard such beautiful sound before. Even at a frequency band that would normally be uncomfortable to listen to, the speaker performs well and sounds surprisingly clear. The quality of the audio is always praised by the DJs who play here too.
